The artist waited until a moment that she was vulnerable and filmed herself while crying. This is something that shows us at our most honest and most vulnerable. Every time she cried it was because of a different feeling. From exhaustion to nostalgia to happiness. The artist waited until there was a genuine feeling producing these tears.

The work explores human emotions. Not from an abstract point of view, but rather from a very real and crude perspective. Life has all these emotions, and while nostalgia, exhaustion and frustration might have been a part of the artists, one knows that everyone else experiences emotions as these as well throughout their life.

The intention of the artist is for the spectator to think about their own life, their own struggles and emotions when they see these performances. About what their own tears have represented for them. And what emotions lie behind them.
