In the video installation ritos de sacrificio – sacrificio corporal/sacrificio material, where two videos are shown next to each other, the artist addresses the sacrifices people have to make, moving from one country to another for various reasons. As a consequence there is a loss of identity, therefore forming a necessity of belonging somewhere.

The first video addresses the bodily sacrifices that one has to make, leaving loved ones behind. The second video addresses the material sacrifices that refer to leaving our homes, the physical space and things, which have been an important part of our lives until that moment; things that are emotionally charged and that become an integral part of our essence.
